Little Man's Birth Mark

Little Man had his birth mark lasered off a few weeks ago. Here is his new look. It is still a bit red. It looks Great though. We are excited, however we do miss it a little. It was how we knew him. We are adjusting. Enjoy his new look. The sad picture is the last picture of Little Man with his birth mark. He wanted a picture to remember that he was sad.

I have tried several times over the past few months to post messages, however it has not worked. So I am going to try again. If you are reading this then it worked. :) It has been a crazy few months for us. All of you already know that. And if you are reading this and don't know email me, I will catch you up. I just want to post something one to see if it works, and two so that I can get into a habit of doing it. Enjoy the pictures I have added with this post. They are from spring break and all of our adventures.

Cute Pictures!!!

We had some fun today. Alan and the Girls came to spend time with me at my store. The fun part of Mom's job is all the fun dresses. So on slow days we like to play dress up. And as luck would have it, there is also a photo studio in with my store. So we dressed the girls up and everyone thought it was so cute that we took a few pictures. We hope you enjoy them. I think Alan got a look into what he is in for in the future.

Camp out

So Alan and I decided that it would be fun to take the kids camping before school started. So last Thursday We packed up the kids and our gear and headed off. As we where leaving I decided that I did not want to go to a camp ground to camp. If we where going to camp I wanted to really camp. We had everything we could need for one night to camp. So I convinsed Alan that we should really camp. After a phone call to a freind who knows the area we felt sure we could manage just fine. We drove up to the mountains and found the area to be so beautiful that even Alan had to admitt that this was way better then a camp ground. It was so beautiful and quite and there was no one else around just the 5 of us. We had a great time, in spite of the rain. When we woke up the next morning we drove around the mountains for about an hour and then found a nice picnic ground. After lunch we started out on a path. The kids loved hiking. Even Sunshine caught on how to keep her balance and manage to do it all by her self. The path we choose lead us to a beautiful waterfall. It was so much fun. We thought the trip was a hit. We can't wait to go again.

Little Man's First Day of School

Today is Little Man's first day of school. He woke up this morning so excited. When Sunshine woke up she went into Little Man's room, and very happily he says to her "Guess what Sunshine, Today is my first day of school! Are you so happy for me?" She continued to suck on her figer and just stare at him. I got a good laugh from it though. Well Liz got Little Man to school just as Alan pulled up to meet us. Little Man was very happy to have us both there for his first day of first grade. We walked into the classroom and met Little Man's teacher, Miss Baca. She is very nice. The students got to pick there own seats so Little Man took his name tag and picked out a seat. He was very happy to find out 3 of his friends from kindergarden are in his class. After that we had enough time to go see the "big" kid playground. So Little Man took Alan and I on a tour of the playground. He showed us where the swings are, and the monkey bars, and the soon to be finished basketball courts. After all of this the bell rang and it was time to go back to the classroom. Little Man went back to his seat that he picked out, only to discover he is the only boy at his table. He was a little unsure about that, but somehow I think he will manage just fine. The most important thing Little Man wanted to do today was to make a new friend. I know that will not be a problem.
